Transitional Programs
At some point most employers have had an employee that lingers out on medical leave for an extended period. The longer the employee is out of work, the more time that is required for return and the chances of return diminish significantly. Establishing an injury management program with an operating procedure that facilitates transitional duty has been shown to reduce the direct and indirect costs associated with the recovery process.
The focus is to progressively increase work specific activity levels in a supervised setting. The employee regains strength and endurance and improves positional and activity tolerances. This also allows us to address pain limitations and pain behaviors, which many times hinder a complete return to work.
Each employer, employee and injury are different and may require a different approach but the method by which an employer applies the program should remain the same. This process is an integral component of our Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention and Management Process. Onsite visits are a must to ensure and document the progress of the transition. During these visits we monitor progress, adjust the care plan and look for potential ergonomic risk factors. Many times we use job coaching techniques to reinforce proper positioning and correction of repetitive motions that can also be applied to others in the work area in order to create a more safe work environment for all. We will work closely with your health care provider to ensure the employee is progressed to full work duty.
We partner with a large variety of local rehabilitation providers to assure continuity with your employees care.
Can I Tailor The Program To Fit My Needs? Our Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention and Management Process is a new concept in creating a workforce that takes control of their health and work/home habits. This comprehensive process puts the power in your hands to improve your bottom line by empowering your employees through onsite, personal evaluation, treatment, training and follow-up.

Our comprehensive, hands-on injury prevention programs improve employee health, boost the quality of work and improve the bottom line. We encourage and enable employees to report aches and pains early so they remain easily treatable and so they don't progress to a full blown injury, thus saving money.
