Physical Testing:

These are just a few of the items that can help point you to areas that may be affecting your bottom line and can be addressed in the physical testing programs.

Injuries

When reviewing the safety in your plant or in a specific area, these are some of the indicators to look for that suggest the need for a physical testing program:

  • High Incidence of Sprains and Strains

  • OSHA 300 Log Review

  • Medical Records Review

  • Musculoskeletal Problems

  • Mismatch Between Worker Ability and Job Demand

Absenteeism/Turnover

Sometimes trends in absenteeism or employee turnover means that the job demands are beyond the physical capabilities of the employee.  Many times employees are exhausted or simply are not physically suited for a jobs demands.  This can lead to higher costs in the hiring process.

Heavy Labor

Heavy labor activities may exceed the actual abilities of the worker.  The testing programs will allow you to match an employee's abilities with the required job duties/functions.
